I moved to England from Russia some years ago. My life changed completely. I absorbed a new language and culture which I mixed with my own and this is expressed in my work. I have always been in love with art. I treated it as a hobby for relaxation and as a theraputic outlet. When I came to England I realised that I left part of myself in my homeland and Art helped me to fill this emptiness and inspired me towards a new life. In my work I underline my relationship with the Russian traditions. The rhythm, emotional sounding of colour, vibration of lines in my work to express the poweful lyrical feelings which you can have from music and poetry. I passionately believe that a truthful art is an Art from the soul. I was born in Russia and worked as a member of a team of artists producing Propoganda and communist Soviet style Art until Perestroica. In England I finished BTEC in Fine Art, an introduction to Art Therapies in Shrewsbury College of Art and Technology. I am studying a Foundation Degree in Creative Art for Employment. I formed an art group "Inspired by colour" and my passion for creative expression has led me to charity work.
