Pye Powder is situated in one of the oldest buildings in the town which gives our shop its name in that one of the courts held in the room above in medieval times was the Court of Pye Powder - derived from Pied Poudre (meaning dusty feet) and was a court convened to sort out small differences.

We specialise in country furnishings including oak and painted furniture together with an inspiring mix of ceramics, glassware and pictures.

We are open:
9am-5pm, Monday to Saturday
